Madison decided to participate in the school talent show. She sang "Accidentally in Love" by the Counting Crows. It was a wonderful performance, but I'm not exactly impartial either...LOL! Hopefully sometime soon I'll be posting the video clip of her performance.

Future Day 2009

Joseph & Madison's school had an activity called Future Day. It's where the kids go to school where they dress up like whatever they want to be when they grow up. Joe & Maddie loved it!!!

Evelyn was really into Easter eggs hunting this year! She loved finding eggs. For a couple days after we were having to drop her plastic eggs all over the house and let her pick them back up. She was addicted =) Joseph and Madison also had a great time and loved their gifts from the Easter Bunny.

It's that time of year again....our kids are keeping us constantly busy with their sports! St. Patrick's Day

My Irish babies had a great time again this year!! They dressed up for school and then came home and had a wonderful dinner of corned beef, beer braised cabbage, garlic red mashed potatoes and Irish soda bread. It was wonderful!!!

One evening while I was at school, Evelyn was so tired she fell asleep in her food. Steve took this picture and showed me as soon as I got home...LOL =) She also recently tried pizza for the first time and fell in love!

Joseph decides to be a mechanic...LOL

My dad recently helped complete quite a bit of maintenance to our cars. Joseph decided to be a junior mechanic and help out Pop. It was so cute, I couldn't help but take many pictures.

Maddie gets 2 awards =)

Maddie recently received two awards at school. The first on is for PE Student of the Month and the other is the Gold Medal Award in reading. She received the PE award because she's awesome according to her PE teachers. They say she is always participating without ever complaining. At home, we call her either "Legs" or "Forest Gump" because she is always running...LOL! Her Gold Medal is because she reads at an extremely high advanced level for her grade requirements. We're so proud!!!

Joseph wins 2nd Place!

Joseph entered the school's science fair and won 2nd place overall. Each teacher was permitted to select finalists from their class. After becoming a finalist they move onto the school fair for judging. Today it was announced that Joseph had won 2nd place for the school wide science fair. Unfortunately, he won't be moving on to the District science fair (only 1st place gets to compete at district). Regardless, we are still very proud of our scientist!!!!
